  1. This is like drinking a cigarette. I knew fracking was bad, but I always thought the severity stemmed from someone's hyperactive mind, almost like a conspiracy theory. This hits pretty close to home, too, in the Dallas area. Not only are we close to Dallas, I have family up there. I don't want them drinking that.

  2. That's insane! I didn't realize how much danger and harm fracking caused. I think this is something that should be recognized in schools, I mean it definitely affects us all and not many people know how much of an impact it has on our lives.

  4. I never knew that fracking was a serious problem. It amazes me that it is happening so often, and big companies that are causing the problem aren't doing anything about it. Since it harms the quality of the water that the people are drinking, it effects the health of the people as well.

  5. It was really sad to see the situation that Fox was put in, especially because he cared so much about his property. Before watching this video, I didn't really know a lot about fracking. After watching it, I realize how big of an issue it is and people around the world need to be informed on the harm it causes.

  6. This video was very insightful. I have always known of fracking, but I never knew the stories and the depth behind it. I went through a series of emotions for the people in this video. I cannot imagine being put into a position where my health is in jeopardy, and I am ignored when I try to voice my concerns. I do not understand how a group of people can pollute and poison someone's home, lie straight to their face about their safety, and then go on to the next victim. On a good note, I liked the organization of the video, and I love it when Josh Fox played the banjo.

  7. I never really knew what fracking was, until after watching this video. I now realize how big of a deal it is and how much harm it causes in schooling systems. People need to be aware of how much danger it causes and how much it affects our lives each and every day. As students in school we need to recognize this problem.

  8. The part that surprised me the most while watching this video was when he talked about how many gallons of water is used in the fracking process and he said somewhere around 40 trillion gallons of water. That just Shocked me. Besides the guys voice, because it was kind of creepy, I thought the video was really interesting. I didn't even know what fracking was before I watched this so it was big eye opener.

  9. I think that fracking is bad and we have cleaner solutions that we can use but i am pretty shure fracking is easier and cheaper .
Fracking may be messing up the enviorment but all those workers and truck drivers have kids who need to eat.

  10. I knew that fracking was bad but the sheer neglect for people really got under my skin. I have a family member who is a petroleum engineer and works for the oil companies. This video mashed me wonder on what he's doing and how it's affecting others. Just imagining myself in the position of many of those families started me. Tap water that's flammable is just crazy. I just wanted to hear more about how to change this problem than continuously pointing out the problem.

  11. I was never aware fracking was such a big deal and such a problem. How much water is being used is crazy! It makes me realize what a big deal that it actually is and makes me want to learn more.

  12. I think one of the best things about the documentary was that, despite that it was covering a topic that I wouldn't normally research, it intrigued me. Any type of media or medium of communication's goal should always be to make people think. This documentary (as everyone else has said) made people think, made them want to know more. I'm glad that we had the opportunity to learn more about things we won't have looked for.
