Smithville was a victim of a brush fire a few weeks ago, and the residents were eventually evacuated. As a result of the fires, burned trees posed as a threat, as they were in danger of falling on nearby power lines.

Lack of sleep IS harmful to our minds and bodies. Studies show though sleep deprivation and sleeping disorders are completely different, they have the same outcome. Sleepless nights result in lack of focus, the inability to perform simple tasks, and even periodic shut-downs in the brain.

This article is about why gender equality should be taught in schools and the stereotypes that go along with different jobs men and women have. The article also talks about the benefits of children knowing about the changes between genders and the reasons men are accepted as the "dominant" gender.

This article is about a college in Pennsylvania that created a club focusing on gender equality. The interesting thing about this article is it's founders and membership base are made up entirely of men. One of the key ideas behind the group was they wanted to dispel the notion that gender equality is a women's issue.
